    3,850 Winnipeggers showed all of Canada how much they truly love their city and downtown, as they dressed in red and white t-shirts and patriotic attire to assemble into one of Canada’s largest living flags at Shaw Park this morning.

    First Indigenous Gardens Planted On Portage Avenue

    Building on the success of many visual enhancements on Portage Avenue, the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, APTN, RBC, and the City of Winnipeg – with help from the business community and many volunteers – planted the first Indigenous garden on one of downtown’s major thoroughfares, comprised of five garden beds in front of APTN, showcasing indigenous/native planting schemes and materials.
