The campaign is designed to show customers that businesses are making health and safety a top priority. It’s no surprise that businesses have struggled through the pandemic. The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ hopes #OpenwithCare will encourage Winnipeggers to support local by shopping, eating and exploring downtown safely.
Downtown Ambassadors connect and provide on the street customer service and support for all downtown businesses and members of the public by answering questions, promoting Downtown Winnipeg BIZ programs and services and businesses we serve.
Supporting our member businesses’ success is always a priority for the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ. To help in this effort, we’re giving out 50 micro-grants of $1,000 each to qualifying small and medium-sized businesses in the downtown area who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2020 Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries ManyFest, scheduled to take place from Sept. 11-13 at Memorial Blvd. and Broadway, has been cancelled. This year’s event, put on annually by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, would have marked ManyFest’s 10th year. The …
