We’re always looking for volunteers at the BIZ to help with our numerous programs and events. It’s a fun way to meet people, acquire new skills and have fun while you’re at it!

Downtown Watch

Over 290 volunteers log over 1,000 hours a month, boosting the presence on the street and gaining valuable work experience—not to mention a shot at employment, as most paid ambassadors are hired from volunteers. Volunteers include students from various post-secondary insittutions as well as those looking to start careers in law enforcement and social and outreach services. Customer Service Program

We are always looking for volunteers for our Downtown Watch Customer Service Program. We continue to expand our program to include our more experienced, senior members of our community, along with people with disabilities and anyone interested in providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities may include collaboration and distribution of print material, manning display booth for promotional or recruitment purposes, attending special events, identifying new businesses, liaison with public and BIZ membership, and much more.

To begin the volunteer process, please fill out the Downtown Watch Volunteer Application and send it along with your resume to rtvcoordinator@downtownwinnipegbiz.com. Only completed application forms will be considered.
