New to RE: Workspace? Please take a look at the policies & procedures for the downtown outdoor office space. Included are some tips for getting around, the available amenities and everything else you need to know before you go.

Find RE: Workspace in the Union Center parking lot at 275 Broadway. The entrance is right next to Capital Grill & Bar
RE: Workspace 2021 is now closed. Stay Tuned for RE: Workspace 2022.
Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Reserve a space through our online booking system.
- Walk: Take a walk down Broadway to RE: Workspace and explore the many local businesses within a 5-minute walk.
- Cycle: RE: Workspace is easily accessible by bicycle, located right off the Garry St. bi-directional lane. There is bike parking on the sidewalk or you can park your bike next to your workspace.
- Ride: There are plenty of Winnipeg Transit stops within a 5-minute walk of RE: Workspace.
- Drive: On-street parking is free for the first hour!
RE: Workspace is outdoors in the open air so RE: Workspace will be closed on rainy days. If that’s the case, anyone with a booking will receive a cancellation notice, as soon as possible. We’d love to see you on a sunny day!
The RE: Workspace team will watch the weather throughout each day. If it starts to rain during operating hours, RE: Workspace staff may close for the remainder of the day.
Clean air policy
Sorry, but there is no smoking or vaping allowed inside RE: Workspace.
RE: Workspace is open to the public! Anyone can use the space to meet with co-workers & clients or get some focus time.
Workspaces can be booked for an hour or more with 30-minute breaks between each booking for RE: Workspace staff to sanitize each workspace. Please note that if you arrive more than 30 minutes late to your booking, your workspace may become available to other guests.
No reservation? No problem! Simply visit the Welcome Desk to see if there are any open workspaces. If not, a friendly BIZ staff member can help you make a booking for another day!
You will receive a check-in email three hours prior to your booking. Check in online or at the RE: Workspace Welcome Desk when you arrive to secure your space.
Extending your stay
In the groove and want to stay longer? Simply check in with our Welcome Desk staff to ask about an extension.
Depending on availability, we could accommodate meetings of up to 15 people. Email email@example.com and we’d be happy to help.
Free Wi-Fi is available to all RE: Workspace guests. The network is “Union Center guest” and there is no password. If you need Wi-Fi support, someone at our Welcome Desk would be happy to help! We’ll do our best, but please understand that some device connections and speeds are beyond our control.
Office supplies & power
RE: Workspace staff are here to make sure you have a productive day. We’ve got a variety of items you might need during your stay including portable power units! Visit the Welcome Desk to borrow office supplies free of charge. We simply ask for a photo ID and a signature on our lending form. Please note that supplies are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Food & beverage
Who doesn’t get a little peckish while they’re hard at work? Food & drinks are welcome and encouraged! Take a short walk to visit great local restaurants or order food right to your workspace!
RE: Workspace washrooms are provided by Capital Grill & Bar just steps away. Visit the Welcome Desk for a washroom key or alternative public washroom locations. To comply with public health orders, you must show proof of vaccination to use the washrooms.
Bring your furry friend to work! Dogs are welcome at RE: Workspace as long as they are on a leash at all times.
Watch your belongings
Downtown Winnipeg BIZ & RE: Workspace staff are not responsible for your belongings. Make sure to take your stuff with you at the end of your outdoor work time.
