Fitness in the Park presented by Cityplace, returns for another summer of working out!

We’re so excited to offer another great line up of Fitness in the Park classes this summer! This year your instructors are all from Downtown Winnipeg businesses!

Our first week of Fitness in the Park features some special guests!

Monday: Sabrina Carnevale (Winnipeg Free Press) and Wesmen atheletes will be attending the Morfit class at Memorial Park!

Wednesday: Terri Apostle (CTV Winnipeg) will be attending the Yoga class at Memorial Park! 

Thursday: Councillor Sherri Rollins (Fort Rouge – East Fort Garry) and Sarah Nick (Energy 106) will be attending the Morfit class at Millennium Library Park! 

Friday: Natalie Bell (Peg City Lovely) and Jimmy Oligny & Mick E. Moose (Manitoba Moose) will be attending Yoga Class at Millennium Library Park!

Our Instructors:

9Round: 9Round offers a 30 minute full-body kick boxing workout that’s fast, effective and fun with personal trainers to help you. For more information on 9Round, please click here.

Morfit: Morfit offers a variety of classes, depending on what day you attend Fitness in the Park!

Monday: Bodyweight Circuits focusing on challenging muscle strength
Tuesday: Rediscover functional movement with a series of exercises to optimize mobility
Thursday: Kick it up a notch with this class filled with skipping and full body movements.

Yoga: Yoga Public is back to teaching outdoor yoga classes for the 6th year! For more information on Yoga Public, please click here.

Classes begin Monday June 3, 2019 and run Monday – Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. In the event of bad weather, classes will be cancelled for that day. Please stay tuned to our website and our social media for updates on Fitness in the Park cancellations.

**Monday June 18th Yoga at Millennium Library Park will be Bike Yoga for Bike to Work day. 

**Yoga Public will be teaching a sunset yoga class at the Downtown Winnipeg Night Market on June 28 and July 26.
