When you hear the term “Impressionism”, French artists such as Monet, Degas, and Renoir might come to mind. But the Impressionist movement was not limited to France alone — it also influenced artists here in Canada. In this lecture, Inés Bonacossa discusses the origins of Impressionism in France, its movement to Canada, and how it took shape much closer to home.
The lecture will take place in our Visitors’ Centre from 1:30-2:30 pm. Refreshments will be provided!
Tickets are $15 ($12 for members) and can be purchased in-house or at firstname.lastname@example.org
