The Great Canadian Tour

ERA Bistro, located in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, celebrates Canada 150 with a menu demonstrating the different traditional tastes and local ingredients of Canada’s ten provinces and three territories. From June 18 to June 30, “The Great Canadian Tour” will feature a daily dish inspired by each Canadian province or territory. “The Great Canadian Menu”, which features ERA’s take on traditional Canadian cuisine including Poutine, Pea & Lentil Soup, and Tourtière, will be available on July 1.


Sunday, June 18 • British Columbia
Entrée: Seared salmon with an herbedbeurre rouge on kale, apple, blackberries & pickled shallot in a raspberry vinaigrette
Drink: Quails’ Gate Chenin Blanc, Okanagan

Monday, June 19 • Yukon
Entrée: Herbed lamb burger with sautéed wild
mushrooms, served with house-cut fries
Drink: Ungava Gin with juniper & dark berries

mushrooms &onions, served with an arugula, mint & citrus salad

Entrée: Beet-cured arctic char on mixed greens, seaweed, dill, berries & bannock croutons tossed in a buttermilk dressing
