Calling all creators! The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ and the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre (WCCCC) have collaborated to bring another Chinatown banner competition.
2021 is the Year of the Tiger according to the traditional lunar calendar. The winning design will emphasize the Year of the Tiger while complementing the existing Chinatown district banners in terms of colour, type, and graphics. All banners will be mounted in the six City blocks bounded by Main St, Princess St, Logan Ave, and James Ave.
All Manitoba creators, as individuals or in teams, are invited to enter. The deadline for all submissions is 5:00 pm, Thursday, January 6, 2022. Please email your submissions to tracey@downtownwinnipegbiz.com (note that we are only accepting digital submissions).The winner of the 2022 Chinatown Banner competition will receive an honourarium of $800.00.
