Downtown Watch Ambassadors are responsible for promoting a safer and friendlier downtown by helping with directions and promoting events and attractions downtown. They also help monitor streets, sidewalks and the skywalk systems, and serve as extra “eyes and ears” to assist the Winnipeg Police Service, Emergency Medical System, Outreach services and the community.

C.H.A.T. provides one on one support to individuals struggling with homelessness in the downtown area. Support is consistently delivered from a social model that respects the clients’ right to self-determination as they address the impact of barriers such as mental health issues and addiction in their lives.
Under direction from the Director of Safety & Outreach, and reporting directly to the Supervisor of Safety & Outreach, the Watch Supervisor will provide operational guidance, leadership, and administrative to the Watch ambassadors and volunteers. Working alongside the ambassadors, the Watch Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of tasks for the Watch Ambassador program and Downtown Security Network.
Under direction from the Manager of Maintenance, Cleanliness & Placemaking, the Crew Supervisor will provide guidance, administrative support and leadership to all Enviro staff to contribute to a clean and vibrant downtown. Working alongside the Enviro Team members, the Crew Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of tasks for the Enviro Team.
