On a mission to defend its ‘largest living flag’ title, the Downtown BIZ invites Winnipeggers to take part in the third annual Canada Day Living Flag event on July 1st at the Manitoba Legislative grounds. The BIZ has thrown down the gauntlet this year, having challenged Victoria, and the National Capital Region, in the goal of creating Canada’s largest living flag.
From cycling to wine tastings to an exploration of rooftop gardens and the river trail leading to the historical site of The Forks, along with the magnificent Waterfront – Winnipeggers will discover some of the hidden gems that make downtown Winnipeg such a unique place to visit, with the launch of several new downtown tours hosted by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
