18 new street banners celebrating the discipline, intuition, and wellspring of creativity of the Year of the Snake will be raised in Chinatown today as part of the Downtown BIZ’s annual Chinatown Banner Competition. Along with these, 17 new district banners will also help define the boundaries of Chinatown – providing a refreshed look and design to welcome residents and visitors to this unique Winnipeg area.
