The BIZ kicked off a new initiative with the Portage Alive Busk Off, a busking competition for cash prizes, with the public voting on their favourite busker to win two tickets to an NHL game.
Twenty-foour buskers took part in the Downtown BIZ’s first annual Portage Alive Busk Off competition on Portage Avenue today. Portage Avenue came alive, with buskers, sidewalk sales, and hundreds of people enjoying music, shopping and the beautiful weather on Portage Avenue downtown.
